| AUTUMN WINTER 2014

by Shweta Kapur was started in 2012 with the idea of bringing sportswear
inspired classy and luxurious RTW in Indian Fashion Industry. Shweta, who has
worked with Fashion houses like Burberry Prosum and Abu Jani & Sandeep Khosla,
presented a very autumn-winter collection on the 4th day of Wills
Lifestyle India Fashion Week.
She
took inspiration from the art of Kintsugi the Japanese techinique of filling
gold in the cracks of broken pottery and went further to develop a collection
with minimal but highly impeccable details.
The minimal
look of white dress was empowered with a strong yet clean Faux Fur Jacket. The
collection went further with interplay of style lines and seams in the jackets and
had some very interesting fur details on the sleeves and the shoulders. Dresses
with slits on waist, asymmetric hem and neck line, and princess variations too
strongly added to the detail factor of the collection. The color story went
heavily on black with a touch of white and navy blue.
